United Way
Quantifying altruism
Everyone knows that United Way does good work. But highlighting concrete ways in which volunteers and donors make a difference in their communities can go a long way toward ensuring future support. My work for United Way Greater Toronto includes profiles of corporate citizens who excel at motivating their workforces to give back; an annual impact report, which weaves community success stories with solid statistics; and uplifting case studies about individual volunteers. All of these pieces send a heartwarming but critical message to supporters across the region: you are integral to our mission, and we appreciate you.
